High Stakes Poker Season 5 Update

The cards have been dealt, money has been won and money has been lost. The filming of season 5 for the popular show High Stakes Poker on GSN has ended and final editing is taking place as we speak. The show is scheduled to start airing early spring and from what we have heard there was plenty of action to please every type of player. The show was shot on three separate days and with three separate tables and the only player to make an appearance in all three episodes was Tom “Durrrr” Dwan because of Sam Simon leaving early on Day 2 and Phil Ivey and Phil Hellmuth not showing up on Day 3.

Below are pictures of each days cast and not pictured in Day 2 is Tom “Durrrr” Dwan who came in later in the day after Sam Simon left.

Day 1: Tom “Durrrr” Dwan, Phil Laak, David Peat, Mike Baxter, Dario Minieri, Eli Elezra, Doyle Brunson, Alan Meltzer.

Day 2: Sam Simon, Daniel Negreanu, Joe Hachem, Patrik Antonius, Antonio Esfandiari, Howard Lederer, Phil Laak, Nick Cassavetes.

Not Pictured: Tom “Durrrr” Dwan

Day 3: Daniel Negreanu, Eli Elezra, David Benyamine, Peter Eastgate, Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies, Tom “Durrrr” Dwan, Barry Greenstein, Doyle Brunson.
